Standard Tytape manufactures and distributes braided non-elastic tapes. Fibers used include Polyester, Nylon, Acrylic, Cotton, Modacrylic, Kevlar® and Nomex®. Flat braid widths normally range from 3/32" to 13/16". Cord diameters normally range from 1/8" to 1/4".

For apparel, we manufacture shoulder tape, bobbin braid, seam braid, pocket tape, crotch tape and apron ties.

Warping departments of weaving mills use our lease string products to separate warp ends.

We manufacture cords for laundry bags and a variety of other applications.

For the wood products and hose industries, we manufacture lumber braid and hose braid for general tying purposes. These braids are also used by manufacturers of paperboard, paper tubes and mouldings.

Standard Tytape is the leading manufacturer of awning braid trim. This product is sold in bulk to a number of distributors, who stock the product for resale to the awning trade.

The Wire and Cable industry uses a wide variety of wound yarns on many putups including braider tubes; serving tubes bobbins; parallel tubes; and cones. We custom wind yarns onto these putups to our customers specifications.

Special Note: While our braids are non-elastic, they can be used as ties for GOWNS AND MASKS.
